How It Works

In Texas, new construction and major ($50k or more) projects in public buildings must comply with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), administered by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Registered Accessibility Specialists (RASes) are professionals licensed by TDLR to review plans and inspect buildings.

Register the project

TDLR requires projects to be registered via the Texas Architectural Barriers System (TABS) system.

Plan review

Once a TABS number has been assigned, contact us to begin the plan review.

Building inspection

When construction is complete, or nearly so, schedule us for the site inspection.
